2024 Dress Rehearsal & Recital Details
SATURDAY MAY 4th, 2024: Dance Collective Dress Rehearsal
Dress rehearsal will be held on Saturday May 4th at Lakeview Church starting at 6:30pm. We will be doing a full dress rehearsal, which means a complete run through of the entire show from top to bottom in full hair and make-up with groups getting one or two chances to run their piece on stage.
A reminder that this will be a closed dress rehearsal (there will be no audience).
Parents can drop off their dancer in the gym, where the dressing rooms will be (this is located left of the auditorium) and wait in the large church foyer until their dancer is done.
Below is the dress rehearsal schedule for the evening.
We have also included the recital order below.
*Please note, that other than our start time, these are all estimated times. It is imperative that dancers come at their listed time below as we may run early!
6:00pm - All dancers who perform in the first half of the show arrive.
*Please make sure your dancer is ready in their costume.
6:30pm -Dress Rehearsal starts
*If your dancer is not participating in the finale, they are free to leave after their run through on stage.
7:30pm - All dancers who ONLY perform in the second half of the show must arrive.
*Please make sure your dancer is ready in their costume.
7:45/8:30pm - Finale practice with all groups
8:15/8:30pm - Dancers who do not perform in the second half of the show are welcome to go home.
8:30pm - All dancers in the second half of the show will remain until they have completed their last dance of the evening.
9:45/10:00pm - End of dress rehearsal
SUNDAY MAY 5th, 2024: Dance Collective Dance Recital
Location: Lakeview Church
1:15pm - All Dancers are to arrive in full hair and make-up. Dancers will meet in the gym where the dressing rooms will be located.
1:30pm - Doors Open (rush seating)
2:00pm - Show Starts
*We ask the parents of the Spirit Flyers Fully Supported to come and collect their dancers immediately after they have performed. If your dancer is staying for the finale, you must bring them back to the gym 3 dances before the finale.
After Recital Get Together
Location: TBD
Please note that we are looking into options for a get together for after the recital on Sunday evening as an opportunity to connect with your fellow dancers and families. We will share once we have more information.
This event is not covered nor sponsored by Dance Collective, you are responsible for your own food/beverages.
